Its location within easy walking distance of a historical place museum was magnificent.

Clean hotel in a nice building next to the main attractions. Lots of cheap food. Very welcoming staff, new-fashioned and practical rooms with a view of york minster. Quaint and gorgeous property in a fantastic setting to reception area. Besides, excellent for visiting a 15th - century church.

The double room was stunning and stylish. The location was stunning - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Had lunch/dinner at Il Paradiso Del Cibo, which we found within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Moxy is in an amazing location, super close to the town centre, handy. The vibes are really good, and the staff were fantastic! Our room was really spacious. We loved the welcome drinks and snacks. It was such a nice touch.

Quirky Stay with Room for Improvement

The communal areas offered a vibrant atmosphere, and we loved the lounge but struggled with the limited space in our room. Future guests should consider bringing toiletries since the provided ones are quite basic.

Loved the funky decor and the coffee bar! The cocktails were a blast, especially the Lychee Cooler.

We had a relaxing couple of nights here, and it was very good. The interactive lobby was so much fun, with board games and a pool table that provided great entertainment. Our room was cozy, and the vibrant atmosphere.

The comfortable room provided a peaceful retreat after visiting very nice landmarks like york minster just a 10-minute stroll away and the beautiful york city walls only a short walk away. It was good to unwind at the stylish bar area after a day of exploration. As a single traveler, I appreciated how cozy and inviting the atmosphere was throughout my stay.
